ITV Granada and SPT Signs Carriage Deal with MeTV in Thailand

ITV Granada, part of iTV Studios has announced the expansion of their channel distribution in Thailand. ITV Granada is offered through Thailand´s IPTV operator MeTV on their TOT platform. Meanwhile Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks Asia has launched two channels Animax and Sony Entertainment Television on MeTV's IPTV platform.
ITV Granada Channel Director Simon Li said, “We are delighted to be joining the MeTV family and growing our footprint in Thailand. With this expansion we aim to bring more of ITV's premium drama and entertainment titles to both local and expat audiences.”
Thailand´s telecom operator TOT commercially launched their IPTV services for their existing 1.4 million broadband customers in partnership with Memorable Entertainment Television (Me TV). MeTV will be supplying STBs for TOT's IPTV services. MeTV is available to more than 1 million subscribers which is 40% of broadband connection holders in Thailand.
